Who we are

What we collect

We only collect the personal information you choose to give us through the enquiry form:

• your full name, email address and phone number;
• the service your enquiry is about, if you select one;
• the message you write.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which it needs to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

Why we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a meeting if you want one, and provide any quotation or service you ask for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form submission comes from a person rather than a bot.
• Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) delivers your enquiry to our team by email.

Both are operators acting on our instructions, bound to keep your information secure and confidential.

Information sent outside South Africa

Our email delivery service and website hosting run on servers outside South Africa, including in the United States. We use providers that are subject to laws or contractual obligations offering protection comparable to POPIA, as section 72 of the Act requires.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. After you send an enquiry, your name and contact details are held briefly in your own browser's session storage so the thank-you page can confirm them. They are deleted as soon as that page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any resulting business relationship, or for as long as the law requires. After that it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure, as POPIA requires.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer needed;
• object to us processing your information;
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

We may update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
